With 17 years of experience in the field of education, Dr. Minh Thi Hong Nguyen has made contributions in training foreign language human resources, especially in training foreign language teachers for educational and social development in the Northern region of Vietnam. Currently, she is the Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Deputy Director of the Foreign Language Center under Thai Nguyen University of Education. She oversees the faculty’s training work, Professional Development for English teachers and foreign language skills enrichment for the staffs and officials of the northern mountainous provinces of Vietnam.
In addition to the task of training and fostering, as a leader, she has supported her colleagues, especially female colleagues who are new to the profession in professional development. She is also a bridge to create job opportunities for ethnic minority female students in many educational institutions, companies, and businesses. She always aims to apply good practices in her management to supporting the vulnerable and disadvantaged, contributing to building a fairer and more equal society for all.
