 Tan Thi Nguyen M.A was born and grew up in Lao Cai, a mountainous province. Throughout her 20 years working in the Agricultural and Rural Development sector, she has made significant contribution to human training for the local agricultural development. Currently, Mrs Tan is Director of the Center for Research and Scientific Transference, mainly in charge of networking, collaborating, providing consultancy and short training courses on agricultural and rural Development as well as gender equality for the local commune system. So far, she has participated in many collaborative projects with international organizations (WB, Oxfam, Great), non-governmental organizations (Helvetas Vietnam) to promote competence, livelihood and sustainable poverty reduction for minority ethnic groups in Lao Cai. During 2019-2020, she was a member in the project “Promote economic power of females through developing the market system for Ancient Shan tea and Medicine trees in the high mountainous Lao Cai”, sponsored by Australian government. Performing in different positions, she constantly tries her best for self-assertion and enhancement in both professional, ethical and political proficiency, well-deserved to be honored “Good women – both at home and at workplace”
